The Weton Wesgram (Pool Music und Media) budget label released the double CD set "Elvis Presley".
Joe Moscheo announced that Elvis' Imperials member Sherman Andrus is leaving the gospel group. Sherman announced that he would leave the group by the end of this year to enjoy his retirement, but decided to change his plan and leave the group at this moment. The busy schedule that Elvis' Imperials are still working on, was to hard for his health. Sherman wants to spend as mush time as possible with his family and will work on some local solo projects. Sherman joined The Imperials at the moment they stopped working for Elvis. Sherman did meet Elvis, but they never performed together on stage.
