Viva Promo!

Two promotional releases for the "VIVA Elvis!" CD popped up; the U.S. and U.K. version. The American promo in white has the original logo design and has, radio sampler along the bottom.

The tracks on this edition are only 3 which are:
1. Suspicious Minds (Radio Edit)
2. That's All Right (Radio Edit)
3. King Creole (Radio Edit)

The European promo is the better looking design which re-vamps the original logo and adds the Elvis image from the Tupelo concert of 1956. This one has all 12 tracks and is in a Digipack format with 'For Promotional Use Only - Not For Resale' printed across the bottom of the front cover and also on the disc itself.

Myrna Smith Update

Myrna's kidney's shutting down led to her sudden failure of health. Her having a stroke on top of that only made her recovery even more difficut. That and the fact that she is 67 years old doesn't help. With the latest news that she has taken a turn for the worst usually means it's time for the family to come and say their goodbyes. This is how it works in the medical world of one who is on their death bed. I just hope Lisa and Priscilla take advantage of the precious time to say goodbye. If they haven't already. I also hope her and Martin, her son, are at peace after their differences several years ago. It could be any day now that we get the sad news that Myrna has left us to be with god....and Elvis.
