March 24 - Heli and Elvis (One)

Released by the German Booy Verlag is the 212-page paperback 'Heli & Elvis' by Heli von Westrem. The book comes with 13 pictures and 21 fan-letters.

From the publisher:
Heli von Westrem, born 1943, grew up in the fantastic world of stars and starlets. Her father owned a film production company in Frankfurt, Hamburg and Berlin.

Heli von Westrem was more than friends with Elvis Presley during his service as a G.I. in Germany. She falls in love with Elvis Presley and he falls in love with her. Stardom, Love, Rock 'N' Roll, an urge for freedom and the post-war period characterize Heli von Westrem's autobiography.

She gives us an insight into her life at the time and share her version of all the legendary stories on Elvis Presley's time at the Goethestrasse 14, the Friedberger barracks, his trips to Paris and alleged kidnapping on the Johannisberg. 1960 Elvis left Bad Nauheim and their ways parted.
