June 10 - On Tour, Astrodome and Matrix Box-sets

Elvis Presley author David English posted the following update on a future "Elvis On Tour' project, to be released through the Follow That Dream collectors label:

"In response to many questions I have received, I can confirm that Both Pål Granlund and myself are busy working on an FTD On Tour project for the 50th Anniversary of the movie, with a tentative release date - August / September 2022 (Audio elements will be included though not finalised).

If any collectors own any materials/photos/documents in relation to the movie, Elvis On Tour, then please get in contact with me at david_memphis@hotmail.com

In addition, we are putting the final elements together for a big 2021 September/October release - more details to follow.

Elvis: Houston Astrodome Box

The VV import label released the “Deluxe Box” set ‘Elvis: Houston Astrodome - Sunday March 3, 1974’ in six different versions with their own design. 


The set comes on red, blue and black vinyl (100 copies each), white marble vinyl (70 copies) and a test-pressing edition (15 copies), all housed in differently designed boxes.  

Inside the boxes a mix of a CD in different digi-packs, large double sided art-card, stickers, T-shirts (blue and black), certificates, posters and more. 750 Gr. in total per box.

The Matrix Recordings

The import CD 'The matrix Recordings' was released. This 4-CD set contains newly created mixes using audience and soundboard recordings from the same concert creating a new listening experiences. The concerts featured on this set are the August 21st 1974 Midnight Show (Las Vegas), the March 3rd 1976 show (Johnson City), the April 23, 1977 show (Toledo) and the April 24th 1977 show (AnnArbor).
