April 08 - The Complete Movie Masters Released

Three weeks before the official release-date of April 26, 2024, the Memphis Recording Service released the 4-CD / book longbox edition of 'The Complete Movie Masters 1960-62 - Plus Session Out-Takes'. 

Publicity stated: This Limited Edition 4-CD-set pays tribute to Elvis Presley’s complete master soundtrack recordings made for his movies between 1960-62. As a bonus, two CDs contain rare outtake tracks from these recording sessions and do include unreleased material. All tracks on this set come in (some newly created) stereo. 
 
The 140-page book focuses on each of the seven films and is accompanied by informative text, complemented by rare and previously unseen photographs and memorabilia. The set includes the newly created Stereo Masters from 'Follow That Dream', recently released separately by the MRS label. 

Other previously unreleased highlights are newly remastered Stereo Versions of 'Shoppin' Around Take 14', 'Britches Takes 1-4 & 6 LFS', 'Summer Kisses Winter Tears - Movie Version', 'Can’t Help Falling In Love Take 8 / 9' and 'Riding The Rainbow Take 9' and several more.
