Polish author Mariusz Ogieglo announced the early 2026 release of his new book 'Elvis Krol (W) Hollywood'

Publicity stated: “All my life I wanted to be an actor. And although I never performed even in school plays, deep down I always hoped that one day I would get a chance to appear in a movie”, said Elvis Presley in one of his interviews.

The legendary King of Rock ‘n’ Roll got his chance to fulfill that dream in 1956, when he was cast in the western 'Love Me Tender,' alongside such stars of the era as Richard Egan and Debra Paget.

The year 2026 marks the seventieth anniversary of Elvis’s big-screen debut (and also the sixty-fifth anniversary of the release of his most commercially successful film – the comedy 'Blue Hawaii'). It seemed to me a perfect occasion to present to you, the Readers, the result of several years of my work – the book 'Elvis: The King (in) Hollywood'.

On nearly five hundred A5-format pages, it will include not only information about Presley’s first ten films, but also behind-the-scenes anecdotes, memories of actors and actresses who appeared alongside the famous singer, critics’ opinions, and detailed information about the cast and soundtrack albums.

I believe that the book will reach readers in the early months of 2026 and will offer a wonderful opportunity to revisit some of the most important and fascinating roles in Elvis Presley’s entire filmography.

Revised Gold Cadillac Book

Bob Hayden announced the release of the revised Deluxe and Expanded Edition of the book 'Elvis Presley’s “Gold” Cadillac Tour of the USA and Australasia 1968-69'.

Publicity stated: Australia’s most prolific Elvis book author, Bob Hayden, will shortly release a Deluxe, Expanded Edition of his critically acclaimed publication about the tour "downunder" of Elvis' Gold Cadillac limousine!

After exhaustive research by Bob (and co-researcher), Glenn Reimer, the deluxe edition contains 172 pages, 66 pages more than the 2011 edition,  including an expanded section covering the New Zealand leg of the tour and details of Elvis' "Vistaliner" bus and Dodge Motor Home.

In addition to detailed text about the tour, the book features literally hundreds of rare photos and archival material, many in colour. 

The book is currently with the printer and will feature a hi-gloss cover and quality, hi-gloss pages.
