March 29 - Myrna Smith Home And Marketwatch: CKX For Sale

After a stay of almost 3 weeks in a London hospital, Myrna Smith was discharged. The staff of the hospital took her to the airport and she arrived in Los Angeles where she went straight to the hospital for more research.

CKX Inc. (CKXE 6.00, +0.04, +0.67%) said Monday it's in talks regarding a possible transaction involving the sale of the company, which carries a market capitalization of $500 million. CKX Inc. owns the rights to the name, image and likeness of Elvis Presley, the operations of Graceland, the rights to the name, image and likeness of Muhammad Ali and proprietary rights to the Idols television brand, including the American Idol series in the U.S. New York-based CKX said there can be no assurance that a deal will be reached.
