Australian researcher-author, Bob Hayden has published his latest book - a '60th Anniversary Edition' - about legendary promoter, Lee Gordon. Gordon was responsible for staging Elvis concerts in North America and Canada in 1957 during the first great peak in his popularity.

Publicity stated: In his latest book, Hayden provides a detailed narrative-visual account of numerous of "The Big Shows" that Gordon staged in Australia. There is a plethora of fascinating behind-the-scenes stories, and the death of Lee Gordon is also covered.

Printed on high quality gloss stock, the 200 visuals are impressive, particularly those in full colour (of which there are many!). The visuals include 'The Big Show' program and assorted magazine covers, other archival material such as ticket stubs and press reports, and rare stills of Frank Sinatra on stage (plus an account of Sinatra being greeted by 10,000 fans in Sydney and how hundreds broke through the barrier on the airport tarmac).
