It seems that no matter how much time goes by, the music Elvis Presley made during his lifetime will never completely fade from popularity.
The superstar returned to the charts around the world with a new album which accompanies a just-released film all about him, and fans of the King in that nation have turned the set into a fast Top 10 bestseller on various countries.

Interest in all things related to Presley remains high, and a brand new Baz Luhrmann concert film/documentary hybrid titled 'EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert 'has already made more than US$14 million globally at the box office.
The movie’s accompanying soundtrack becomes a quick success in the United Kingdom this week. The set debuts inside the top 10 on nearly every chart on which it debuts this time around, and it even manages to earn Presley a new posthumous No. 1 in the country as the 'EPiC' soundtrack album debuted at No. 1 on the Official U.K. Soundtrack Album chart, pushing the 'Stranger Things Season 5' soundtrack off of the throne.
With this No. 1 position Elvis earned his second No. 1 on the Official Soundtrack Albums chart as the 'Elvis by the Presleys' album marked his first chart topper on the Soundtrack Album chart. That project spent a total of 40 weeks on the chart, including five weeks at the summit.
The 2022 'ELVIS' soundtrack returned to the Soundtrack Album chart at No. 47.
The soundtrack album has come in at No. 17 on the main U.K. Album Top 100 chart with only four additional debuts landing just ahead of Presley. It debuted at No. 5 on the Album Sales Top 100, the Album Download chart and the Physical Albums chart.
Three additional projects attached to Presley appear on at least one list in the United Kingdom'. The '50 Greatest Hits' compilation re-entered the Album Download chart at No. 73 while the 'ELV1S 30 #1 Hits' continued its rise on the main album chart, climbing to No. 65 this week. On the Chart Update chart the latter album dropped from No. 60 to No. 63 while it climbed 10 spots, from No. 68 to No. 58. on the U.K. Streaming Album Top 100.
On the Country Compilation chart the 'From Elvis In Nashville' album dropped from No. 17 to No. 20.
The 'The Complete Story' jumped from No. 26 to No. 9 on the Music video chart this week.
Austrian charts:
- The 'EPiC' soundtrack re-entered the Austrian chart just outside the Top 10 at No. 11.
Australian charts:
- The 'EPiC' soundtrack re-entered the Australian Album chart at No. 26.
Belgian charts:
- The 'EPiC' soundtrack re-entered the Belgian Ultrapop charts at No. 12 and No. 18 in respectively the Wallonia and Flanders parts of the country.
Irish charts
- The 'ELV1S 30 #1 Hits' album re-entered the IRMA Album Top 100 at No. 96.
Dutch charts
- The 'EPiC' soundtrack album debuted at No. 84 on the Album Top 100 chart.
French charts
- The 'EPiC' soundtrack album debuted at No. 156 on the SNEP Album Top 200 chart.
German charts
- The 'EPiC' soundtrack album entered the Album Top 100 chart at No. 49.
Norwegian charts
- The 'EPiC' soundtrack album debuted at No. 6 on the Physical Album chart.
Scottish charts
- The 'EPiC' soundtrack album debuted at No. 5 on the Album Top 100 chart.
Swedish charts
- The 'EPiC' soundtrack album debuted at No. 8 on the Swedish Album chart.
Swiss charts
- The 'EPiC' soundtrack album debuted at No. 16 on the Swiss Album chart.
U.S. Billboard charts
- The 'ELV1S 30 #1 Hits' compilation climbed from No. 41 to No. 35 on the Top Country Albums chart.
- Online charts
- The 'EPiC' soundtrack soared to the No. 1 spot on the CDs and Vinyl chart, the Pop, the Film Music and Rock album charts in the United States and United Kingdom. The album could be found in the upper half of the Apple Music, iTunes and Spotify charts this week.
The 'EPiC' movie grossed US$3.5 million in the United States and US$5.2 million internationally. In the U.S., the film was the fifth most-watched film this weekend. The movie is doing exceptionally well in theaters. The movie grossed more than US$14 million worldwide until now.
