July 05 - Yellow Vinyl at the Movies (Update July 08)

The Music on Vinyl label re-issued the classic 1972 “Elvis Now” album on yellow vinyl.

Elvis Presley - At the Movies

The Shellac Disc label announced the release of the LP "Elvis Presley - At the Movies" on July 12, 2019. The album contains tracks from the movies "Love Me Tender", "Loving You", "Jailhouse Rock", "King Creole" and "G.I. Blues".

65 Years Ago


After a few failed attempts to record ballads, Elvis Presley, Scotty Moore and Bill Black take a break during an early recording session at SUN Studio in Memphis. Soon Elvis starts singing an Arthur Crudup song, “That’s All Right.” Bill and Scotty join in, and Sam Phillips rushes to capture it on tape ... and history was made.
