The Gravelroad import CD 'Sittin' On Top Of The World', containing the complete August 12, 1970 midnight show, was released. The liner-notes appear to be taken from an article from the FECC-forum.
Inside the booklet two new releases were announced; 'Hang Loose' and 'Raw On Stage'.

Elvis Presley's 1971 'Elvis Christmas Album' was awarded a Diamond Award for the sale of 10 million albums (10 X Multi Platunum).
Second Chance At Life
A new book, slated for August 2012, was announced. "Second Chance at Life" tells the story of Tammy Baiter Mershon. The unthinkable happened to Tammy after making the trek to Memphis because of Elvis' untimely death. The book "Second Chance at Life" (out August 2012) tells the story of the deathly crash, killing two, that occurred in front of Graceland in the early morning hours of August 18, 1977 and her survival. The book will be edited by Mike Freeman and Sue Mack.
Lucky Magazine
The King of Rock 'n' Roll's impact can be seen everywhere, including in the world of fashion! The September issue of Lucky Magazine features a beautiful photo spread titled "The King and I," with clothes are hair styles inspired by Elvis Presley. The photo shoot was done at landmarks around Memphis, including the Levitt Shell and The Arcade Restaurant.
