August 24 Sweet Hall Of Fame

The Sweet Inspirations were inducted into the "The Rhythm And Blues Hall Of Fame And Museum". During this ceremony former member Cissy Houston received the "The 2014 Rhythm & Blues Music Humanitarian Award".

The Presentation of the official R&B hall of fame gold record to Estelle Brown of the Sweet Inspirations was on Monday September 1, 2014. This Gold Record authentifies the induction of the Sweets to the R&B Hall of Fame. Very well deserved! The Family of Myrna Smith was presented with hers too. Next stop is the Family of Sylvia Shemwell.
