September 21 - Viva Las Auction

Cars owned by Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley will be among hundreds of vehicles on the block this week when auction company Barrett-Jackson stages its final auction of the year in Las Vegas. 

Eyecatcher of the auction is the "Viva Las Vegas" Corvette. This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette appears in race scenes in the 1964 Elvis movie "Viva Las Vegas." It was converted for racing, complete with a roll cage and competition suspension. In the film, Elvis portrayed a race car driver named Lucky Jackson.
