Tuesday marked the 41st anniversary of Elvis's final concert before his death. It was in Indianapolis at Market Square Arena, and now at that site stands a plaque dedicated to The King of Rock n' Roll.
A plaque commemorating the 25th concert anniversary used to stand at the spot on Market Street, but it was moved when the development of 360 Market Square began. The new plaque is now outside the square decorated with photos of Elvis, the arena, and a ticket stub. It also contains a time capsule filled with letters, photos, and items fans dedicated to the late music icon.
