March 22 - Friday Bootleg Vinyl Chart (Updated 25/03)

The Friday Music label re-issued the classic “Elvis Now” album on vinyl. It comes in two anniversary versions; translucent gold and red swirl and translucent blue and black swirl 180 Gr. Audiophile vinyl. Both packed in a gatefold and poster.

Synopsis:
Elvis Presley's Gold-certified 1972 RCA release, Elvis Now is home to the single "Until It's Time for You to Go" b/w "We Can Make The Morning" and finds the King offering up a wide-ranging mix of ballads, gospel numbers and all out rockers with his Las Vegas residency firmly in mind. Lennon-McCartney, Kris Kristofferson, Gordon Lightfoot and Buffy Sainte-Marie are among the famous songwriters Elvis tackles here with his signature charm and conviction.

Vegas ’69 - This Is The Story

The first vinyl release of the Madison import-label is out; “Vegas ’69 - This Is The Story”, just in time for the 50th anniversary of these special shows. This is a limited edition that comes on transparant, gold, black and red vinyl and on a CD as a bonus. Each color limited to 200 copies.

According to the press-release “the ultimate compilation of this very special time in history, Mixed as one long show, hear Elvis sing his heart out, with songs like "My Babe", "I Got A Woman", "Reconsider Baby", "Funny How Time Slips Away", "This Is The Story" and many more!”. As a bonus each set contains a CD in its own period cardboard sleeve.

Guaranteed To Blow Your Mind

The Luxor / DAE import label present “Guaranteed To Blow Your Mind” the re-issue of the classic bootleg as a double vinyl / CD set.

From the press-release
The CD “Guaranteed To Blow Your Mind”, originally released in the late 90’s was the very first outing of the famous March 18, 1974 performance in Richmond Virginia. At the time it was probably the best sounding soundboard recording available. And it still is!

Luxor realizes the show was made available on vinyl before but as this is probably the best show of Elvis in 1974 we thought it just cannot be missed in the vinyl series of DAE / LUXOR. We have left out the pre-show as this part was already featured on the DAE release “Let Me Take You Home”.

The show is remastered and updated in the best way possible! This release is very limited and is available in red or blue vinyl presented in a gatefold sleeve. And of course the show is included on CD too. Get it while you can and add this awesome LUXOR product to your collection.
