Well actually that is not so strange, as he was so kind to write the foreword for this edition, sharing his memories, he wrote:
“Elvis used to ask me, “Stump, do you think people will remember me when I’m gone?” I never understood why he asked me that because he was so young and such a big star. I never thought of his not being here, then one day, he was suddenly gone. It’s never been the same since he died. It took me two years to accept that he had actually died. It’s great to see that, after all these years, things like this book still come out. Elvis always wanted to know that he would be remembered, and he is. So thank you to Kees for helping keep his memory alive by writing these yearbooks.
