Description: Before he filled stadiums, Elvis Presley delivered electrical supplies around Memphis. Sometimes he sat at the piano in a church along his route and played gospel. He talked about earning enough to buy his mother a house.
ELVIS: So I Keep Singing tells the full story of his life in a single volume, from Tupelo and the first Sun records to Hollywood, the 1968 comeback, Las Vegas, and the final concerts.
Music carries the story. Around it are the mother he lost, the musicians with whom he found his sound, the women who shared his life, and his daughter, Lisa Marie. In the studio, at home, and before an audience, Elvis's humor, generosity, and exacting standards emerge alongside the decisions that damaged his health and relationships.
A Spanish edition, titled 'ELVIS: Por Eso Sigo Cantando: Una Biografía' is due for release in January 2027.
