The book "Elvis Presley's Memphis", which was published by The Commercial Appeal and EPE and explores Elvis' love of his hometown, received the Silver Award for best regional non-fiction in the 2011 Independent Publisher Book Awards. It was a tie with the book "Infinite Monster: Courage, Hope, and Resurrection in the Face of One of America’s Largest Hurricanes, by Leigh Jones and Rhiannon Meyers".
