Fathom Events Partners With Authentic Brands Group to Exclusively Release Elvis Presley's '68 Comeback Special' in Movie Theaters Worldwide
Fathom Events has announced a strategic partnership with Authentic Brands Group (ABG), a brand development, marketing and entertainment company, and owner of Elvis Presley Enterprises LLC. The partnership kicks off this summer with an exclusive two-day theatrical release Elvis' legendary "'68 Comeback Special," directed and produced by Steve Binder, to cinema audiences worldwide.
The "'68 Comeback Special" will hit big screens with a two-day, 50th-anniversary event on August 16 and 20. More details, including screening times, locations and ticketing, will be announced in the coming weeks. The event and parties were brought together by music and media producer, Spencer Proffer, CEO of Meteor 17. Proffer and ABG's Marc Rosen, SVP Entertainment, will serve as the producers of the event and will collaborate on the development and distribution of new, exclusive cinema presentations.
