Roger Semon from the The Follow That Dream collectors label informed fan clubs that the first batch of 2020 releases will be shipped to dealers from Denmark. The double CD "Elvis In California" and the double LP "Love Letters From Elvis". The release was delayed due to a printing error on the CD set.
The "Love Letters From Elvis" LP features tracks recorded during the marathon sessions held in Nashville, June 4-8, 1970, the original LP became the last album of utilising songs recorded during that week. This new 180-gram heavyweight vinyl edition mastered at Abbey Road in London features a festival of outtakes and masters.
The "Elvis In California" CD is released as part of the ongoing live on tour series. This 2-CD features Elvis touring during May 1974. The shows, taken from the original soundboard tapes, feature concerts from Selland Arena, Fresno (May 12) and Swing Auditorium, San Bernardino (May 10 and 13). The concerts come housed in a 5 inch digi-pack.
The Follow That Dream label announced it is working on a “Blue Hawaii Sessions” set. Production has been halted as the label is trying to locate two missing master tapes containing the earliest takes of “Can’t Help Falling In Love”.
