The weekly Elvis Presley global chart update. Elvis Presley is sliding' down the charts. Last week Elvis Presley was listed in Belgium and Switzerland, this week he can only be found on the charts in the US, UK and Australia.

US Billboard charts:

  • US Billboard Album Top 200 chart: “The Essential Elvis” climbed from #141 to #140.
  • US Billboard Catalog Album chart: “The Essential Elvis” climbed from #50 to #42.
  • US Billboard Top Christian Album chart: “Elvis: Ultimate Gospel” climbed from #44 to #34.
  • US Billboard Top Rock Album chart: “The Essential Elvis” climbed from #18 to #16.
  • US Billboard Top Country Album chart: “The Essential Elvis” dropped from #12 to #15. 
Official UK charts:

  • Official UK Album Top 100 chart: “The 50 Greatest Hits” climbed from #99 to #97. 
  • Official UK Streaming Album chart: “The 50 Greatest Hits” dropped from #64 to #67.
  • Official UK Music DVD chart: “Elvis The Searcher” re-entry #39.
  • Official UK Music DVD chart: “Elvis Lives - Live From Memphis” re-entry #43.
  • Official IK Music DVD chart: “’68 Comeback Special” re-entry #44.
No matter how many years go by, the King is still the King. Elvis Presley’s "The 50 Greatest Hits", a beloved compilation across the pond, finds itself at No. 97 this time around, earning another week on the all-genre tally. The career-spanning set is the musician’s fifth to reach one full year on the ranking.

The "50 Greatest Hits", which is twenty-years-old now, spending its 52nd week on the U.K. album chart this week. This makes it the sixth Elvis album to spend at least a year on the chart, joining Elvis’s Golden Records (60), G.I. Blues (65), Blue Hawaii (71), 40 Greatest Hits (52), and 30 Number One Hits (125). With 47 weeks spent on the chart, If I Can Dream seems likely to follow suit.


Australian charts:

  • Australian ARIA Music DVD chart: “'68 Comeback Special (50th Anniversary Edition)” climbed from #7 to #6.
