Joseph Tunzi's book 'In The Valley of the Sun', covering Elvis Presley's September 9, 1970 'one-night-stand' in front of 15,000 fans at the veterans Memorial Coliseum, Phoenix, Arizona, has been released.
The book comes with a bonus CD featuring the last interview with Chips Moman and a pocket calendar.

W. S. Holland Died
Drummer W. S. "Fluke" Holland died. He was 85. He played drums on the 1955 Sun Records recording of "Blue Suede Shoes" and performed on the "Million Dollar Quartet" session that featured Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Perkins and Cash. He joined Johnny Cash' band in 1960 and would spend the next 37 years at Cash’s side.
