March 06 - Elvis On Vinyl

The Reel Trax import record label released 3 versions of the ''68 Unleashed' NBC-TV Special on 45-RPM vinyl. The set is available on classic red, translucent red and as an Exclusive yellow colored Bennies Fifties exclusive. The red copies are limited to 400 copies, the yellow edition is limited to 250 copies.

Tracks LP 1: Recorded June 29, 1968 (6:00 PM) at Burbank Studios, CA

Side 1: Heartbreak Hotel / Hound Dog / All Shook Up / Can’t Help Falling In Love  / Jailhouse Rock / Don’t Be Cruel / Blue Suede Shoes.

Side 2: Love Me Tender / Trouble Baby, What you Want Me To Do / If I Can Dream.

LP 2: Recorded June 29, 1968 (8:00 PM) at Burbank Studios, CA

Elvis On Record

UK author Paul Alner published the cover for 'Elvis On Record: Volume 2 1966-1981'. This second and final volume in his record of Elvis' UK vinyl output and is expected to be published in the summer.  

The first volume, 'Elvis On Record: The Definitive Guide To UK Record Releases Volume 1' (comprising 560 pages) was released at the end of 2023, and like volume 2, it is a strictly limited release of 175 copies.
