October 17 - Elvis Audio Hardware

Two new Elvis themed audio-players have been announced. We Are Rewind announced a new Elvis Presley Cassette-player and Pro-Ject Audio has launched a new Elvis Presley Themed Turntable in the company's Artist Collection line. The cassette-player comes with a remastered cassette edition of 'Elvis’ Christmas Album'.

Description: The Elvis Turntable is a striking piece with LED strips integrated into the chassis, which can be dimmed. It comes ready to play with a dust cover, felt mat, tonearm and cartridge from Sumiko.

The Elvis Turntable is part of the company's Artist Collection line and features a striking integrated LED design that's hard to miss. The lighting is dimmable for those who prefer to focus on the music, or for when there are no visitors to gawk at the Elvis Turntable.

The technology is based on Pro-Ject Audio's T2 product line. In addition to the CNC-milled plinth and a 10mm thick glass platter weighing 1.7 kilograms.

Elvis Turntable is equipped with a nine-inch aluminum tonearm with an adjustable spring mechanism and a Sumiko Rainier cartridge. The belt-driven Elvis turntable uses the same electronically controlled, precision AC motor as the T2 instead of unregulated DC motors with large speed fluctuations, and is ready to spin at 33 and 45 RPM in a low-noise, stable drive system.

As part of a zero-resonance design, according to the manufacturer, specially selected feet have been included to effectively isolate the turntable from ambient vibrations. Let The King shake and rattle, not the turntable dedicated to him. A dust cover, felt mat and 45 RPM adapter are included in the package. A high-quality, thoroughly shielded semi-balanced RCA cable is also in the box.

The turntable has a recommended retail price of just under €1,400.

Description for the cassette-player:
This Elvis Limited Edition Cassette Player is a true tribute to the King of Rock and Roll and his legendary ’68 Comeback Special.

Timed perfectly for the holiday season, the box set includes a cassette player inspired by the iconic red “ELVIS” sign featured during the live performance of 'If I Can Dream' in the historic ’68 Comeback Special.

It comes with a beautifully remastered cassette edition of 'Elvis’ Christmas Album'. First released in 1957, it remains one of the best-selling Christmas albums of all time, featuring timeless classics such as 'Silent Night', 'Santa Bring My Baby Back (To Me)' and 'O Little Town of Bethlehem'.

Strictly limited to 1,957 units (a nod to the album’s original release year), this set is the perfect Christmas gift for anyone who knows that legends never fade.
The cassette-player has a recommended retail price of €179.
