The Follow That Dream label announced that their next release in FTD's classic album series will be the classic "How Great Thou Art" album. The album is due June 21, 2010. The vinyl re-issue of "Blue Hawaii" on the Follow that Dream label will be deleted.
On the ARIA Music DVD Chart, "Elvis The King of Rock 'n' Roll" rises 2 spots to #36. It is certified 3xP and has been on the chart for 108 weeks with a high position of #4.
The "ELV1S 30 #1 Hits" compilation climbed from #30 to #15 on the Top 50 Catalogue Album chart.

Harold Newton, the Elvis fan and photographer who passed away last year, was more than a 'photographer'. Harold was a die hard fan, who collected everything he could put his hands on: menus, news paper clippings, books, lobby cards, posters, and more. His entire collection was sold through eBay, as of June 6th.
Sherill Nielsen Update
Hello to our dear friends and special Elvis fans all over the world. First let me say, THANK YOU for your prayers, thoughts and concerns regarding Sherrill's Battle Against Cancer. If it has taught us one thing, it has taught us to be strong, think positive and live each day to the fullest. We love each of you and are so glad that you are there for us.We have a PRAISE GOD report...today was Sherrill's last radiation treatment. He says he has been well barbecued. They have given him all the radiation they will be able to give him. However, the last report shows that the tumors are shrinking. We will go back to the Radiation Doctor in about 45 days and they will run CAT Scans, etc. to see where we are. He still has 9 weeks of Chemo therapy and Erbitux to go. But perhaps just having the chemo treatments won't be as hard on his body as having both together. He is weak but in "good spirits". He said that Dr. Jerry Deewood and his prescriptions helped the situation and Dr. Henrik Salomon and his prescription for our upcoming trip to Tyler, Texas (my home) is just what the Doctor ordered. We have been living with this Cancer 24x7 since January.....so we are ready for a change in scenery. Then some very dear friends, Noel and Kay Johnson in Florida sent a Prayer Quilt (which their church made)...so many prayers went into the stitching of the quilt. Then, we have to remember Peter and Sandra Beines and their upcoming "bundle of joy"....scheduled to arrive in January 2011. Sherrill says that he most definitely needs to be there to sing some lullabies to the new arrival (Elvis or Priscilla - lol).---since Elvis got to sing to our little girl (during the recording session of "How Great Thou Art". Then a special thank you for our dear friend, Harrison Tyner, who use to manage Sherrill back in the 1970's and just produced a packaged CD of "The Best of Sherrill Nielsen....all 77 songs". We are so blessed to have such great friends and we do want each and every one of you to know how much your friendship means to us.
We know that God is in control of the situation so we are not going to worry. The Doctor told us to go ahead and get our concert dates booked for 2011 and that is what we are concentrating on. God will provide the strength that we need.
