EPE announced that the Official Elvis Presley Fan Club Presidents’ annual holiday CD will include three songs this year. Featuring a ‘60s vintage cover, the highly collectible CD will include Elvis’ version of “Here Comes Santa Claus,” “Merry Christmas Baby” and “On a Snowy Christmas Night.” The CD should be out mid-December.
Graceland Poinsettia Campaign
Each year there is a Graceland Poinsettia Campaign. This year, everyone who makes at least a $20.00 donation to the Graceland Poinsettia Campaign to raise money for Presley Place will receive his/her name on our online donors list and a beautiful Graceland holiday postcard mailed to their home of the living room at Graceland. Top Designers Select Elvis
The New York Times asked five fashion designers to pick their favorite images from the NY Times archives to make available for purchase online. These 50 images were curated by five top fashion designers: Diane Von Furstenberg, Michelle Smith, Prabal Gurung, Vera Wang, and Zac Posen.
Michelle Smith, known for the Milly by Michelle Smith collection, has defined youthful, luxurious style since 2001. One of Michelle’s top 10 photos that was chosen was a 1956 Alfred Wertheimer photo of Elvis Presley titled “Hold Me Tight.” A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of these photographs from the NYT Store Online will benefit the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
