January 18 - Jimmie Rodgers Died

Early Rock 'n' Roll and Country Music star Jimmie Rodgers died. He was 87. 

Rodgers scored a #1 pop hit with 'Honeycomb'. He wrote the song 'It's Over' in 1966. Elvis Presley recorded a live version for his 'Aloha from Hawaii' concert.
