From the press release: From 1969 to1976, Elvis Presley performed 641 stage during 15 engagements at the International / Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas. The entertainment press widely covered his opening Vegas appearance in August 1969 and RCA issued a live album spotlighting his return to the concert stage.
These initial engagements still resonate as a turning point in Presley’s career. The backing of the TCB Band was also undeniably fundamental throughout these performances and in enforcing the physical and emotional power of Elvis Presley, live in Las Vegas.
The LP comes on 180 Gr. white colored vinyl with liner notes and rare archival photos. The audio was professionally re-mastered audio from the original PBS-TV broadcast.
