Roger Whittaker Died
British singer Roger Whittaker died, he was 87. Elvis recorded the song 'The Last Farewell' which Whittaker co-wrote for his 1976 album 'From Elvis Presley Boulevard'.
This version was released as a posthumous single in the UK in 1984, peaking at number 48 in December.
The U.S.- based French photographer Henri Dauman, best known for his pictures for Life magazine, died. He was 90.
Dauman photographed Elvis Presley at Fort Dix, leaving for Germany and returning home almost 2 years later, celebrating his 25th birthday at Graceland in 1960.
