Elvis at No. 1!
Billboard reported that Elvis Presley’s ‘The Classic Christmas Album’ has dashed from No. 3 to No. 1 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums Chart! His 2012 holiday collection tops the list for the first time. The album also marks its 52nd week on the tally.
'Blue Christmas' climbed from No 36 to No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart.
On the Global Top 200 Singles chart the song climbed to No 21, coming from No. 51. With the U.S. sales cut out, the sing jumped 130 places, from No. 173 to No. 43 on the Global Top 200 Singles.
On Billboard's Streaming Songs chart, 'Blue Christmas' climbed 7 places to No. 20. On the Streaming Country Songs chart it remained steady at No. 4. On the Rock Digital Songs Sales chart the classic song remained steady at No. 15.
On the Holiday 100 chart, 'Blue Christmas' won 1 spot and climbed to No. 20. The song made a re-entry at No. 45 on Billboard's Holiday Airplay chart. On the Holiday Streaming Songs chart it climbed from No. 21 to No. 20. 'Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Claus Lane)' climbed back up this week, from No. 85 to No. 77.
- 'O Little Town of bethlehem' rose to No. 5, winning 5 places, on the Christian Streaming Songs chart.
The Classic Christmas Album' surged from No. 46 to No. 23 on Billboard's Top 200 Album chart. It climbed from No. 38 to No. 20 on the Streaming Album chart and from No. 17 to No. 13 on the Catalog Album chart. The album hit No. 4 on the Top Country Album chart while 'The Essential Elvis Presley' compilation climbed from No. 41 to No. 37 on that tally.
On Billboard's Top Rock and Alternate Albums chart the Holiday album climbed from No. 5 to No. 2, just loosing out on the top spot. On the Top Holiday Albums chart the compilation climbed fro No. 17 to No. 14.
- 'Elvis' Ultimate Gospel' compilation returned to the Top Christian Album chart at No. 43 this week in its 315th week on the chart.
- 'Elvis - Christmas with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra' remained steady at No. 20 on the Classical Album chart.
- On the Artist Top 100 chart 'Elvis' climbed from No 44 to No. 35. Not bad for an artist who left us in 1977.
Canadian Charts:
- 'Blue Christmas' won 10 spots and climbed to No. 19 on the Hot 100 Singles chart.
- 'The Classic Christmas Album' rose from No. 43 to No. 16.
