Graceland shared a video on the restoration of the wall behind the Meditation Garden, which has been completed.
The restoration project of the wall in Meditation Garden at Graceland has been completed. Over the past year, we have kept you updated on the progress via our website, and now we can announce that this special place has been restored to its former glory.
The renovation was an intensive process, in which every effort was made to preserve the unique authenticity of the wall. The original stones were carefully reused and last week the original stained glass windows were replaced. With this completion, the wall is ready to last for years to come.
The original wall was built in the mid-1960s and is an important part of the serene and timeless atmosphere of Meditation Garden. Thanks to the renovation, this special place has once again a full-fledged and beautiful appearance that will fascinate every visitor.
The Meditation Garden is one of the most iconic and peaceful places at Graceland where Elvis was given his final resting place.
