January 19 - Elvis '56 Vinyl

A few days before the official release on January 24th 2025 the Music On Vinyl released a Collector's Edition of the ‘Elvis 1956’ album on 180 gram audiophile blue colored vinyl. The first fans received their copies.

Publicity stated: Elvis 56 - originally released in 1996 - is a compilation of studio master recordings made by Elvis Presley in 1956. The sessions on this LP took place at RCA studios in Nashville and New York, as well as at Radio Recorders in Hollywood.

 

Comprising the most complete and essential overview of The King's first year at RCA, Elvis 56 is the definitive rock 'n' roll album, including "Heartbreak Hotel," "Blue Suede Shoes," "Hound Dog" and "Rip It Up. Album also includes an insert with rare photos and complete recording data.

Elvis 56 Collectors Edition is available as a limited edition of 2000 individually numbered copies on blue colored vinyl.
