"Today we received the test pressings of both the Memphis and the Murfreesboro, TN., 1974 recordings and listened to them together with Erik and here is our survey.
Perfectly balanced, both the high and low tones, Elvis sings from the middle and comes across clearly. All background vocals are perfectly balanced. As for the sound of the band I have to say that it sounds contemporary, as if recorded yesterday. These albums are an addition to your collection and have not been put on vinyl or any other sound carrier before in this pristine quality.
We had problems with the original supplier Deepgrooves from Holland who went bankrupt last October. Erik had the order ready but at the last moment we had to look for another source that we found in Belgium. BVPP (Belgian Vinyl Pressing Plant) took over the order and did an excellent job to still be able to deliver the sets within a reasonable time.
