Elvis' stepbrother David Stanley announced that is upcoming book 'Broken Vessel' is set for release on December 15, 2026.
The book description: 'Broken Vessel,' subtitled 'Finding Faith and Forgiveness in the Shadow of the King' is David Stanley’s deeply personal narrative and powerful testament to the unwavering love, grace, and redemption of God. This candid memoir chronicles David’s tumultuous journey growing up on tour with his stepbrother Elvis Presley, his divine calling to ministry at the tender age of 12, and his eventual surrender to that ministry in the tumultuous years following Elvis' death.
It meticulously details David’s struggles with debilitating depression and feelings of unworthiness, which led him to abandon his ministerial calling and flee from God, convinced that a soul as damaged as his could not possibly be of use to the divine.
Above all, Broken Vessel is a poignant testament to the eternal love of God for humanity, and how, through the redemptive power of His Son Jesus Christ, we can find forgiveness, healing, and restoration to fulfill His divine purpose in our lives.
Note: David Stanley previously announced the release of a book titled 'Surviving Elvis', but this project has not yet been released.
