Review Elvis Day By Day 2025

Brazilian Elvis author Waldenir Cecon was kind enough to review the 2025 edition of 'Elvis Day by Day', here is what he wrote.

For those who have followed the universe of Elvis Presley for many years, I can honestly say that 'Elvis Day By Day 2025 The Year in Review' is one of those books capable of surprising even the most experienced fans. I was truly impressed by the care and depth with which the book documents practically everything that happened in the Elvis world throughout 2025, the year marking the 90th anniversary of the King of Rock and Roll.

Right from the very first pages, it becomes clear that this is far more than just a catalog of releases. The book works as a true journey through Elvis’ legacy in modern times. Across 558 full-color pages, it is packed with information, images, and analyses showing how Elvis’ name remains incredibly alive and relevant today.

One of the things I enjoyed the most was the detailed timeline format. The book follows month by month all Elvis-related releases: new books covering a wide variety of subjects, special CD editions, beautiful multicolored vinyl releases, and of course the 'EPiC' movie releases on DVD and Blu-ray. For collectors, this becomes an almost indispensable reference guide.

Another aspect that really caught my attention was the inclusion of more than 75 reviews, articles, and interviews. These are not superficial texts. Many times, I felt like I was reading a top-level specialized magazine. The authors genuinely analyze the releases, discuss sound quality, content, rarities, and even help fans decide what is truly worth adding to their collections. That makes the reading experience even more engaging, especially for fans who closely follow Elvis releases but cannot always buy everything.

I also greatly appreciated the celebratory atmosphere throughout the book. At many moments, it conveys the feeling that Elvis’ legacy continues to grow even decades after his passing. The foreword written by Roy Turner, Executive Director of the Elvis Presley Birthplace, adds a very emotional touch to the beginning of the book, especially by highlighting the 90th anniversary of Elvis’ birth in Tupelo.

Visually, the book is absolutely stunning. The full-color pages, reproduced covers, promotional photos, and release artwork make the experience incredibly enjoyable. It is the kind of book you pick up just to “take a quick look,” only to find yourself spending hours turning the pages.

After reading 'Elvis Day By Day 2025', I was left with the feeling that it is not simply a release guide, but also an important historical record of how the legacy of Elvis Presley continues to inspire fans, collectors, and researchers all over the world. In my opinion, it is easily one of the most complete and important publications ever created about the contemporary Elvis universe.
