Due for release from an unknown record label on September 4, 2026 is a clear vinyl edition of Elvis' debut album.
Description: It would be hard to find a more iconic album. It is Elvis Presley’s debut and stands as one of the very first albums in the history of rock (prior to this, the genre was consumed via singles). The cover art captures everything about Elvis- his good looks and raw energy - and would go on to be frequently imitated.
For the future King of Rock and Roll, it marks the turning point between his rockabilly beginnings at Sun Records and a new life as a living legend. The tracklist documents this moment, featuring songs recorded over the course of a year, starting at SUN Records.
Elvis vinyl expert Paul Alner shared the cover art for the previously announced volume 3 in his 'Elvis on Record' discography series, asking his followers for reactions. He also shared several previews from records covered in the book.
On the work-in-progress he author stated on his Facebook page: "My objective is to cover all U.K. vinyl from 1982 to the end of 2027. It is a mighty task with over 570 records to include. This was compounded by my desire to include the German pressed records from the 1980's that weren't pressed specifically for the UK but found themselves in our stores due to the European Customs union."
This was preceded by a post stating: "With the recent releases of 'EPiC' on vinyl and the FTD double album of 'Clambake' it brings the total number of Elvis records released in the U.K. since January 1982 to a whopping 589! Work on volume 3 is in progress and so far 216 releases have been covered. With 400 pages already used it is inevitable that there will be a volume 3 and a volume 4."
