Details “My, It’s Been A Long Time”:

Now available on vinyl: “My, It’s Been A Long Time”. Originally released in 1998 and featuring probably the best show of (already) the 5th tour of 1976. In total Elvis rocked the Greensboro Coliseum 5 times. Obviously most memorable is the April 14 1972 performance which is considered to be one of his best performances. But more than 4 years later Elvis still delivered a high-quality show in Greensboro.

21 years after the original CD release it is time for a high-quality re-release of this fantastic performance. For the very first time this show is now available on a high-quality double vinyl set.

Although the original release was way above the standard soundboard sound quality, the show is newly remastered and updated in the best way possible! And it sounds amazing! This release is very limited and is available in red or blue vinyl presented in a gate-fold sleeve. And of course the show is included on CD too. Get it while you can and add this awesome LUXOR product to your collection.

Details "First In Line Vol. 2":

To be released in the middle of November by the MxF Records import-label is “First In Line Vol.2”. This set covers Elvis’ January and February 1974 Vegas season featuring the previously unreleased January 30th Midnight Show and the February 8th Evening Show. Both shows were taken directly from the original “ambiance high-quality” tape.

Elvis’ tolerance for Vegas has reached its limit in the previous august 1973 season. So after the deserved 5 months rest, Elvis is back in Las Vegas Hilton. According to the new contract, he is due to perform twice a year, but only two weeks at a time rather than the previous four weeks in a row. The repertoire was reduced to 15 -20 songs when compared to the previous season, but with three new additions: “Help Me”, “Spanish Eyes” and the popular “Let Me Be There”. The song selection for both concerts - performed 9 days apart - in this set differ a little, so do the performances.

Both The ambiance tapes are of very good quality, as you can appreciate both Elvis and the band and at the same time you can feel and live the live atmosphere of the intimate Las Vegas Showroom.

In the first show, recorded closer to the opening of the season, we still have the splendid “You’ve Lost The Loving Feeling” which was dropped from the set-list 9 days later, with the inclusion of “Sweet Caroline”, the classic “Johnny B. Good” and the sentimental “The First Time Ever I saw your Face”.

This new MxF Special Product comes housed in a deluxe 300 grams single sleeve that includes the 150 Gr. vinyl album, the two bonus CDs and a glossy 60x30 CM double sided bonus poster.

To create a collector’s item the 400 copies come in four different vinyl variations; black, red, white and blue. The label also released a limited boxed edition of 60 copies with exclusive content.

Besides the vinyl editions the label also produced double CD edition limited to 100 copies containing the same two CDs as the vinyl set. This set comes housed in a deluxe long digi-pack with a glossy 50x26 CM poster and an art card. This set comes in two variations.
