Frech Vinyl

The French My Happiness fan-club, together with LMLR announced the re-release of Elvis Presley's first five French EPs on November 2, 2019  “Rock and Roll volumes 1 to 5”. These re-issues come in two variations. One set on black vinyl containing the original version of songs like “Shake, Rattle and Roll”, “Blue Suede Shoes”, “Blue Moon”, “Tutti Frutti” and a second edition on red, yellow, blue, green and grey colored vinyl, containing alternate versions.

Danish Singles Collection

The Memphis Mansion compilation “The Danish Singles Collection Vol. 1” has been released on CD, red (300 copies) and clear vinyl (100 copies). This compilation contains the original sounding masters as they first appeared on the vinyl singles manufactured in, and released on, the Danish RCA label. In Denmark, the singles would sometimes be released with the A and B sides reversed. Other times a 45 would be issued with different couplings, for example “That's All Right” / “You're A Heartbreaker” and “In My Fathers House" / "I Believe In The Man In The Sky”.

Each track featured on the album and the subsequent volumes are from the original vinyl masters and have been mastered for the best possible sound. Unlike other 'Public Domain' releases, the difference with this one is that several of the original 45s had different mixes to that on the albums.
