  • Billboard Top 200 Album chart: ‘The Essential Elvis Presley’ climbed from #166 to #162. 
  • Billboard Catalog Album chart: ‘The Essential Elvis Presley’ climbed from #44 to #43. 
  • Billboard Top Rock Album chart: ‘The Essential Elvis Presley’ dropped from #23 to #25. 
  • Billboard Top Country Album chart: ‘The Essential Elvis Presley’ dropped from #20 to #21. 
Official UK Charts
  • Official UK Album chart: ‘The 50 Greatest Hits’ climbed from #55 to #49.
  • Official UK Streaming Album chart: ‘The 50 Greatest Hits’ climbed from #47 to #43.
  • Official UK Music DVD chart: 'The Elvis Collection' dropped from #14 to #15.

Streams Of Old Favorites Spike During Pandemic

When it comes to music, Americans are feeling a bit nostalgic during the coronavirus pandemic. During the first week of April, Spotify says there was a 54% increase in nostalgia-themed playlists, with songs from the 1950s seeing the biggest increase in streams compared to the first week of March. Elvis Presley's 1957 hit “Jailhouse Rock” was the most-added song from that decade.

Most-added songs to playlists by decade:

  • 70s: “Ain’t No Sunshine”, Bill Withers
