June 09 - Bonnie Pointer Died

Bonnie Pointer, one of the founding members of the Pointer Sisters,  died. She was 69. Together with her sister Anita Pointer she wrote the song ‘Fairytale’ which Elvis recorded March 10, 1970 for the ’Today’ album.
