Graphic author Paul Belard published the 212-page book 'Elvis 2nd Ed Sullivan Show'.
Description: October 28, 1956 was a busy day in the Elvis’ world. He rehearsed for his second appearance on the 'Ed Sullivan Show', gave a press conference, posed for pictures as he was given a polio shot. Then, in the evening, at 8:00 he appeared on TV, singing 'Don’t Be Cruel', 'Love Me', 'Love Me Tender' and 'Hound Dog'.
In the meantime during the same day, not too far off, a giant cut-out of Elvis above the marquee of the Times Square Paramount Theater was unveiled, announcing the upcoming premiere of his movie 'Love Me Tender'.
