This week too, Forbes took notice of Elvis' chart results. Hugh McIntyre noted in his article on the >>> Forbes website

As the biggest holiday of the year for millions of Americans is quickly approaching, many Christmas hits and the albums they’re featured on are rapidly rising on the Billboard charts. This week, Elvis Presley’s catalog continues to benefit from this need the masses have to listen to their favorite seasonal smashes, and all those streams and purchases have helped him return to the top 10 on several important lists.

This week, Presley claims a top 10 album on two Billboard charts. Neither of these titles are new, and they don’t quite hit their previously-set peaks. That said, they are performing quite well for releases that are many years old, and their current success underlines just how valuable a major Christmas hit can be.

Presley appears highest on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart. On that genre-specific list, his The Classic Christmas Album is up to No. 8. Last week, it sat just outside the top 10, at No. 11.

At the same time, The Classic Christmas Album also succeeds on the Top Country Albums chart. On that ranking, it lifts to No. 10, also breaking back into the highest tier on the tally of the top-performing full-lengths in America that are at least somewhat country in sound.

On the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, The Classic Christmas Album once peaked at No. 2, narrowly missing out on becoming another leader for the King. Over on the Top Country Albums chart, it hasn’t risen quite that high. The title has stalled at No. 5, at least so far, as there’s no telling how well it will perform this season.
