Publicity stated: Volume 4 continues where Volume 3 left off, August and September 1970! On August 10th 197 0 Elvis Summer Festival started and thousands of people and stars flocked to see the main attraction in Las Vegas! MGM was present during the start and filmed what we all know and love as 'Elvis - That's The Way it Is' Elvis never looked better!
After MGM wrapped up the filming, Elvis loosened up and relaxed more on stage. But, even if the camera crews left, the fans with tape recorders didn't ... Now, experience Elvis at the peak of his career - Elvis Summer Festival 1970!
The audio was remastered, using the latest technology and pressed on 7 CD, housed in a Deluxe packaging with a booklet. Shows included are:
- CD 1: August 23, 1970 Dinner Show (previously released on 'The Hillbilly Cat Live')
- CD 2: August 24, 1970 Midnight Show (previously released on 'The Hillbilly Cat Returns')
- CD 3: September 04, 1970 Dinner Show (previously released on 'September Nights')
- CD 4: September 04, 1970 Midnight Show (previously released on 'Like A Greek God')
- CD 5: September 05, 1970 Midnight Show (previously released on 'The Midnight Hour' and 'Elvis Sings Johnny B. Goode')
- CD 6: September 06, 1970 3 AM Show (previously released on 'Vegas Variety Vol.5')
- CD 7: September 07, 1970 Closing Show (previously released on 'Like A Greek God')
These are all audience recordings and have been released on bootleg - often several times before.
