Elvis Presley hasn’t recorded music in more than half a century. Despite that fact, the legendary musician’s estate has been releasing new albums for decades. The Presley camp continues to dole out updated reworkings, live recordings, and special collections, and the rocker’s fan base never seems to fail to snap them up.

On this week’s U.K. charts, Presley debuts his latest posthumous release inside the top 10 on a pair of tallies. The set became an instant bestseller, which is par for the course when it comes to one of the most successful artists to ever live.

Presley’s 'Memphis' debuts at No. 5 on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts in the U.K. The project was clearly a strong seller after its release, with purchases on some physical format seemingly being responsible for the title’s immediate success.

'Memphis' nearly entered the top 10 on one more tally, though it missed out on doing so by just a single space. Presley’s project launches on the Official Vinyl Albums ranking at No. 11 this frame.

The set also reaches the main albums chart in the U.K. This week, Memphis opens at No. 83 on the ranking of the most-consumed EPs and full-lengths in the country.

Memphis was recently released as a must-have for longtime collectors of all things connected to Presley.

As 'Memphis' performs well upon its arrival, Presley fills several spaces on other U.K. charts as well. He even manages to double up on the albums chart in the country, as 'ELV1S 30 #1 HITS' returns to the top 40, lifting from No. 41 to No. 40.
