Veteran character actor L.Q. Jones died. He was 94.
Born Justice Ellis McQueen, he took his stage name from his first film role in the 1955 Raoul Walsh film, 'Battle Cry'. He made three movies with Elvis. The first was when he was just getting started in Presley's first movie, 'Love Me Tender' (1956), 'Flaming Star' (1960) and 'Stay Away, Joe' (1968).
