June 12 - From One Delay To Another

According to a Facebook post by Chris Giles from The Elvis Shop London the FTD label informed dealers that "'The How Great Thou Art Sessions’ CD set is running way behind schedule, we are therefore planning to ship ‘Houston - Fort Worth - Baton Rouge’ and ‘Fun In Acapulco’ by the end of the next week".

Delay Over!

Erik Lorentzen proudly announced that he received the 10-inch SUN LP's that were part of the delayed 2022 'Elvis Prodigy Of Sun Records' double book project. Erik Lorentzen had apologized to fans for the delay which was due to post-covid supply issues. These should be shipped to dealers and fans as soon as possible.

The Redemption of Elvis

Thomas E. Alton published his 84-page paperback 'The Redemption of Elvis: Inspiring Hope, Love, and Faith in the World through Gospel Music'.

Publicity stated: 'The Redemption of Elvis: Inspiring Hope, Love, and Faith in the World through Gospel Music' is a musical biography that reveals the secrets of personal life, personal stories, and even transmissions. Messages of hope and faith through Elvis' Gospel music that the author has collected thanks to his literary talent.

From the beginning of entering the entertainment industry until the first turning point. We will discover the musical revolution he spread. Thanks to his faith in God, he has brought his career in particular and the Gospel music industry in general to his fans.

He has inspired faith, belief and hope to many people including the author. So the author published this book to inspire people. All told and blended into this book called "The Redemption of Elvis: Inspiring Hope, Love, and Faith in the World through Gospel Music".

'The Redemption of Elvis: Inspiring Hope, Love, and Faith in the World through Gospel Music' is a valuable resource for those who love and want to learn about Elvis. What are you waiting for without adding a book to your bookshelf?

Note: Nigel Patterson from the Elvis Information Network discovered: To my surprise, it turned out to be a revision of Billy Stanley's book, The Faith of Elvis. In this case, the "new" author has repeated the full contents page but then rewritten text to make it slightly different to the original text. It also appears significant parts of Billy's narrative have been excised to allow a much shorter book, but one that is effectively a distorted mirror image of the original. I have advised Billy but am yet to hear back from him. Meanwhile, Thomas Alton has also published other books, begging the question if he has form.
