The Now Entertainment import record label announced the release of the LP / CD ‘On Stage Undubbed’. This album will be released on 180 Gr. orange and white colored vinyl with a bonus CD.
Publicity stated: At the end of June 1970, RCA released the album ‘On Stage’. Containing 10 live tracks which weren't immediately associated with Elvis. Although mentioned on the front cover "February 1970" two tracks were recorded in August 1969. Main attraction on the album was the mega-hit "The Wonder Of You", further the album contained tracks like John Fogerty's "Proud Mary" and Tony Joe White's "Polk Salad Annie". Especially "Polk Salad Annie" would become a standard powerhouse performance at his live appearances and be performed close to 500 times on stage. The album reached gold status 8 months later.
And although very powerful and close-to-perfect tracks were selected for this album, still some overdubs had to be done to make the album suitable for release. Mostly some backing vocals needed to be added or replaced, some new guitar work was done too as well as some applause was added. Some very false backing vocals by the Sweet Inspirations needed to be covered up too. These overdubs were done at the end of March and the beginning of April 1970.
This release contains the ‘On Stage’ album in its undubbed form. A great raw and powerful listen!
Side A: C.C. Rider / Release Me (And Let Me Love Again) / Sweet Caroline / Runaway / The Wonder Of You.

I Was The One Singles Collection
An unknown import record label released the singles set ‘I Was The One Singles Collection’.
Publicity stated: In June 1983 RCA released a follow-up to the "Guitar Man" remix album. This time David Briggs and Tony Brown were responsible for producing the 'I Was The One' LP. The album was produced at the House Of David Studios in Nashville, Tennessee in June 1982.
In some way, the album is comparable with the 'Guitar Man' album as completely new backing tracks were recorded just like for the former album. Though this time the producers were in for an even bigger challenge as the tracks chosen for this album dated back to the mid and late 50's while Felton Jarvis had to work with tracks recorded not even 10 years earlier, Briggs and Brown had to work with tracks about 25 years old. Obviously recorded with different techniques.
You love it or you hate it is often said about this album, but a sure thing is that it is part of the Elvis catalogue from the 80's.
Now available is this wonderful 45RPM set containing 5 singles / EP's containing all the tracks from the original album on 45 RPM red or blue colored vinyl singles and on CD.
