October 28 - The Guitar Player Who Changed The World

Paul Belard published the 344-page paperback biography 'Scotty Moore - The Guitar Player Who Changed The World'.

Description: Scotty Moore, with Elvis Presley and Bill Black, created the legendary Sun sound and they were instrumental in the creation of Rockabilly and Rock and Roll.

Scotty’s playing did not compete with Elvis’ voice. It gave the voice a musical world in which to exist. His guitar could drive the rhythm, answer Elvis’ vocal phrases, introduce a song, create tension or simply provide the space in which Elvis could let loose. The guitar was not an accessory to the performance, it was part of its architecture. Scotty's guitar playing has influenced countless artists.
