The new mix of 'Suspicious Minds' is a complete re-working of the hit song from 1969. The single should debut on the radio on September 15th and has October 25th. as the release-date. The cover art is the preliminary design. The new single was played at the BBC 2 Hyde Park concert 'Elvis Forever'
Elvis Country / The Sequel
The sequel to the 2009 "Elvis Country / The Sequel" import release was announced. Volume 3 - "Elvis Country /The Prequel" - is the final edition in this series and goes back to the original roots with tracks from 1968-1954, so its full circle, going back to where it all began at SUN Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. 24 mostly rare and hard to find recordings, mixed in the style of the original 1970 album, so with segments of 1 song between each track; "I'm Movin' On".
Spring Fever
Elvis Presley’s Spring Fever is the soundtrack to an animated TVC by GPY&R Melbourne for Schweppes Australia’s Spring Valley which breaks this weekend.
The ad is the first time a Presley song has been licenced for commercial use in Australia – features the work of US based animation house Psyop.
Schweppes Australia marketing director Darryn Wallace, said: “Our objective was to create a new and exciting campaign for Spring Valley that had a broad appeal and after seeing it left everybody feeling happy, with an added spring in their step. We are wrapped with the final result; it is bright, colourful, has amazing animation affects and simply leaves you smiling. ”
As well as TV, the campaign will run across cinema, print, online and outdoor. Adshel bus shelters and street furniture will use flowers and grass along with Bluetooth-enabled technology allowing on the spot download of the Spring Fever Elvis track.
