The image is the mock up for the cover-art which will be designed by David Parker, who also did the design and sleeve-notes for the first volume.

Welcome Home Elvis

Due for release from the Memphis Recording Service on March 22, 2024 is the CD-Single 'Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra - Welcome Home Elvis'. This CD will be available through retailers.

Publicity stated
Throughout his career, Elvis only performed one live duet with another artist – in this case, Frank Sinatra, another great icon of his time and was recorded on 26 March 1960 in Miami.

The show itself - 'The Frank Sinatra – Timex Show' - was broadcast on 12 May 1960. Taken from a recently discovered original acetate, this historic recording has been carefully remastered and for the first time, presented here in the best quality ever.

Tracks: It’s Nice to Go Travelling / Fame and Fortune / Stuck On You / Frank Sinatra Introduces Elvis / Medley - Witchcraft - Love Me Tender / Love Me Tender (Reprise) / Frank Sinatra and Nancy Say Farewell to Elvis.

Debut Cassette

Due from the Destination Moon record label on February 28, 2024 is a cassette edition of Elvis' self-titled debut album.

Publicity stated: Elvis Presley’s self-titled debut album forever changed popular culture on release in 1956, its earthquake aftershocks still felt some 65 years later.

Gritty adaptations of Carl Perkins’ ‘Blue Suede Shoes,’ Ray Charles’ ‘I Got A Woman’ and Little Richard’s ‘Tutti Frutti’ helped make it the first Rock ‘n’ Roll album to top the Billboard charts, where it remained unchallenged for a full ten weeks.

The iconic cover image with its distinctive lettering, showing Presley brandishing his acoustic guitar, helped embed the instrument in rock mythology too, indelibly changing how we conceive of the genre and its axemen. Elvis Presley proved that our hero was already the undisputed King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, just as he still is today.

Tracklist Side A: Blue Suede Shoes / I'm Counting On You / I Got A Woman / One-Sided Love Affair / I Love You Because / Just Because.

Side B: Tutti Frutti / Tryin' To Get To You / I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Cry (Over You) / I'll Never Let You Go / Blue Moon / Money Honey.

Surviving David Stanley

David Stanley, stepbrother of Elvis Presley announced the December 2024 release of his new book 'Surviving Elvis'.

Publicity on his Facebook page stated: The new book is the true story of my life after Elvis. The book features insights on what really caused Elvis’s death in August of 1977. It reveals the facts about the Doctors who killed him and the controversy that followed concerning the official cause of his death.

The book also puts attention on the book 'Elvis: What Happened' written and released in 1977 by three of Elvis former bodyguards. It was this book that crushed him and had a direct impact on his untimely death.

In addition 'Surviving Elvis' will cover Priscilla’s role in Elvis life both then and now. It also examines the media frenzy that followed Elvis death and the lies that were told and published by several members of the so called Memphis Mafia.

Lisa Marie and her relationship with both Elvis and Priscilla is also a focus in 'Surviving Elvis'. The book begins with Lisa passing and the profound effects that rippled throughout the world and family as a result of that dreadful day.

'Surviving Elvis' is this and much much more. It is a book thats both brash and unapologetic. It is a book that reveals Elvis’s tormented soul and addresses the demons that drove him to an early grave.  It is the unbridled truth that the world of Elvis is so desperately seeking and to this day has been denied.

Written with compassion for Elvis, 'Surviving Elvis' is not a tell all exposé of the king's life. It is the story that David lived and helplessly experienced first-hand and through his faith barely survived.

Graceland Opens Newly Expanded Lisa Marie Presley Exhibit

Elvis Presley’s Graceland in Memphis opened the newly-expanded 'Lisa Marie: Growing Up Presley' exhibit today in honor of her 56th birthday. The exhibit’s expansion further delves into the multifaceted life of Lisa Marie Presley as a loving mother, passionate musician, and guardian of her father’s legacy. Lisa Marie Presley was born in Memphis and raised at Graceland as the only child of Elvis Presley. She passed away in January 2023.

With an early glimpse into what it was like growing up at Graceland as the one and only daughter of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, the exhibition features items from her childhood including her baby footprints, personal golf cart, record player, roller skates and clothing, plus shares stories and memories through home movies and photos. Newly added personal childhood effects include school yearbooks, school photos and report cards.

The expansion takes you through Lisa Marie’s adult life with an extensive display of 45 outfits and other never-before-seen items including personal Christmas cards, stationery, never-before-seen photos, and more.

New exhibit highlights include:

Lisa was born in Memphis and had always called Graceland home. I remember her first seeing a quote from her dad from the original exhibit that said she was the greatest thing that had ever happened to him, and her reaction will forever be etched into my brain,” said Joel Weinshanker, managing partner and majority owner of Elvis Presley Enterprises. “I know y’all will enjoy this amazing, expanded exhibition as much as she did.”
